Rockport– Rockport Middle School presents Two One-Act Comedies: Check, Please and 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse March 22 and 23, 2024 at 7:00 pm, and March 24 at 2:00 pm in the John Lane Auditorium at RM/HS.
Check, Please, a comedy about dating, is annually one of the most-produced plays by middle and high schools in the country. A raging kleptomaniac… your grandmother's bridge partner… a mime. The play follows a series of blind dinner dates that couldn't get any worse -- until they do.
10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse answers the age-old question of what you should do when it's the end of the world and hordes of rampaging zombies are about to devour you. Do you try your hand at kung fu against the undead? Do you attempt to reason with the zombies? Or do you begin by sacrificing the weak? All these questions and more are answered in this hilarious one-act play.
There are a total of 47 cast and crew members from grades 6-8 at RMS.
